Belforte del Chienti
Belforte del Chienti is the nearest town and consists of a low-lying part of the city and the old village center on the hill. The name originated from the river Chienti, which crosses the village. In the "Chiesa di Sant'Eustacchio" is the largest polyptych in the world from 1468 by Giovanni Boccati.

Macerata
Macerata, or the city of opera, is the capital of the province of Macerata. The opera performances take place in the open air theater "Il Sferisterio". In the city's largest square, Piazza della Liberta, is the Torre dei Tempi con Orologio Planetario, a tower with a clock whose hands turn every day at 12 noon. Just outside the city you can visit the ruins of "Helvia Ricina" where there are remains of buildings of more than 2000 years old.

Ascoli Piceno
Ascoli Piceno is the capital of the province of Ascoli Piceno in the southern part of Le Marche and is known for the square "Piazza del Popolo" where the famous "Caffe Meletti" is located, known for its anise liqueur. The medieval city is also called the city of a hundred towers because of the many churches.
In July and August, the "Quintana" takes place with colorful processions in the setting of a medieval knight's game. Also famous are the "Olive Ascolane", large olives, stuffed with minced meat mixture and then deep fried.

Riviera del Conero
The coast near Ancona is a nature reserve called "Parco Regionale del Monte Conero". Places such as Portonovo, Sirolo and Numana are important tourist centers, especially in summer. Numana is also called "Citta delle Tartarughe", city of the turtles. The name is obtained because sick turtles are treated in Numana and then released on the beach. From the "Belvedere" lookout point you have a beautiful view of the bay where there is a two-part rock formation called "Due Sorelle".

Grotte di Frassasi
These stalactite caves near Genga are for the first time discovered in 1948. Later more and more entrances and caves were discovered by speleologists. The total cave complex covers approximately 13 kilometers and is partly open to the public. The "Grotta Grande del Vento", the great cave of the wind was discovered in 1971, later also the "Abisso Ancona" a cave more than 200 meters high and a cave called "Sala dell'Orsa" room of the bear, in which a figure in the form of a bear is located. The caves contain huge stalactites and stalagmites that have been formed over the past millions of years.

Lago di Fiastra
This lake is located in the Natural Park of Monte Sibillini. It is fed by the cold mountain water of the river Fiastrone and was created after the construction of a dam near the village of Fiastra. The clear blue-green water is especially popular in summer with water enthusiasts, hikers and campers. Numerous hiking trails and viewpoints have been created around the lake, offering beautiful views of the reservoir.

Lame Rosse
About 3 kilometers from the dam of Lago di Fiastra is the rock formation Lame Rosse, a red rock formation consisting of gravel and clay that was formed by the centuries of erosion of rain, wind and snow.

Recanati
Recanati is famous as the hometown of the poet and philosopher Giacomo Leopardi. The hills surrounding the city are also called the Colli dell'infinito and inspired Giacomo Leopardi to write his most famous poem L'infinito, an ode to the landscape of Le Marche.

Corinaldo
Corinaldo, one of the best preserved fortress villages in the Marche, is known for its staircase with the Pozzo della Polenta.
According to legend, a farmer rested by the well and placed a bag of cornmeal on the rim. The bag fell into the well in a moment of inattention, and the farmer went into the well to retrieve it. However, he stayed in the pit to enjoy the polenta and it seems that the farmer is still there today.

Sarnano
Sarnano is a medieval fortress town at the foot of the Sibillini Mountains. One of the attractions are the waterfalls in the immediate vicinity of the city. "La via delle cascate perdute di Sarnano" is the road that connects three waterfalls. the Cascata dell'Antico Molino", de "Cascata de lu Vagnat" and "le Cascatelle" .

Loreto
Loreto is a place of pilgrimage. According to the fifteenth century legend, the church Basilica della Casa Santa is said to be the house where Mary was born and lived. The house of Mary is said to have been transported there from Nazareth at the end of the thirteenth century by angels. This is probably due to a misunderstanding because the crusader who transported the house was called Angeli.
The Duomo was built later in the sixteenth century and is the third largest domed church in Italy (after St. Peter's and the Duomo of Florence).

Pian di Castelluccio
On the border of Umbria and Le Marche lies a plateau in the nature park of Monti Sibillini at about 1,400 meters. Lentils are grown on the plateau, which gives the plateau a range of colors from May to July, partly due to the wild flowers such as poppies, cornflowers and mustard seeds.
In October 2016, the area was badly hit by an earthquake and reconstruction is still underway.

Vestignano
Right next to Caldarola is the picturesque town of Vestignano.
It is a picturesque fortified town with a castle and rampart. The town has only 31 inhabitants.
